ABOUT TWO RIVER THEATER

Two River Theater annually produces a theatrical season that includes American and world classics, new plays and musicals, programs for young people, and festivals of new work. Each year, we also offer 40+ events that reflect our diverse community of Red Bank, New Jersey. Two River celebrates and honors our core values of Artistic Excellence; Education and Community Engagement; Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion; and Operational Excellence. Anyone who joins our team quickly becomes part of putting all of our initiatives into action day in and day out. Two River Theater is led by Artistic Director Justin Waldman and Managing Director Nora DeVeau-Rosen and was founded in 1994 by Joan and Robert Rechnitz.

OPPORTUNITIES

SAFETY GUARD

Safety Guard will join Front of House operations, and will collaborate with other departments such as Operations, the Box Office and Production. This role will help ensure the safety and wellness of TRT’s staff, audiences and artistic personnel during theatrical production processes and public gathering events. The hourly commitment varies from week to week. However, the range per week may scale from 4 hours to 20 hours. This role requires an in-person presence, and must be available to work in the evenings, nights and weekends.

EDUCATION

Two River Theater, a LORT D producing theater in Red Bank NJ seeks professionally experienced and dependable theater teaching artists for periodic outreach programs on a rolling basis. Teaching Artists will incorporate the arts in schools using the work on our stage. Applicants should have extensive experience teaching theater to grades 4–12. Experience teaching Shakespeare, as well as in-school workshops, should be noted. Teaching artists need patience, a good sense of humor, intelligence and a sincere desire to inspire and make a difference.
